A fractured, Barron arctic moon. Air is breathable but very thin and maintains temperatures between 2 to -60 degrees Celcius. The wind sweeps east to west, at 50 to 90 kph.
Months ago seismic activity fractured the moon in two. It also brought to the surface a long forgotten obsidian obelisk. The structure and it's markings match nothing in any known records. The entire event would have gone unnoticed if not for the strange signal coming from the newly unearthed monolith.
