Content Policy

Effective date: March 30, 2026

D6DB is a fan-built reference tool and community for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. To keep the platform welcoming and safe for all users, the following rules apply to all user-generated content including characters, campaigns, homebrew entries, profile information, and any other content shared through the Services.

1. No NSFW Content

Content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise not-safe-for-work (NSFW) is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Sexually explicit character descriptions, backstories, or images
  • Pornographic or suggestive profile content
  • NSFW homebrew entries, campaign descriptions, or session logs

2. No Hate Speech or Harassment

Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is not allowed. This includes slurs, derogatory language, and targeted attacks against individuals or groups.

3. No Graphic Violence Beyond Setting Context

Star Wars is a setting that includes conflict and combat. Brief, contextual references to violence within the scope of the game are acceptable. Gratuitously graphic, gory, or disturbing depictions of violence that go beyond what is appropriate for the setting are not.

4. No Illegal Content

Content that promotes, facilitates, or depicts illegal activity is prohibited. This includes instructions for harmful activities, and content that exploits minors in any way.

5. No Spam or Misleading Content

Do not use the platform to distribute spam, advertisements, phishing links, malware, or intentionally misleading content.

6. Respect Intellectual Property

D6DB is a fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lucasfilm, Disney, or West End Games. Users should respect the intellectual property of others.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders. Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion.

If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it through our Discord server.

8. Content on Account Deletion

When a user deletes their account, any published homebrew content and articles are unpublished and transferred to the site administrator. This ensures that content referenced by other users (such as in campaigns or community discussions) is preserved but no longer publicly visible under the original author's name.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Content Policy as needed. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
