Background
Lo Vapeet, a male Muun, staunchly backed the InterGalactic Banking Clan, openly lauding its operations on HoloNet News and CIS Shadowfeed feeds in the lead-up to and throughout the Clone Wars. During the Separatist Crisis, the Banking Clan efficiently created new currencies for systems departing from the Galactic Republic, reducing the registration time to a mere 30 standard minutes. Previously, it had been a cumbersome process of two years and 14 filings to register a new currency. Vice-Chair Vapeet firmly denied allegations of his organization sending armed IG-227 Hailfire-class droid tanks to Praesitlyn, claiming they were stolen from the Banking Clan’s ledgers by pirates and not evidence of any partisanship with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Nevertheless, the Clone Wars ensued, and despite their non-exclusive arrangement, the Banking Clan provided substantial support to the Confederacy. The Vice-Chair of Communications confidently defended the company by stating that it was only acting in its own best interests by assisting the Separatist Alliance.
