Arrur Sork was a human male from Chandrila that flew under the callsign “Phoenix One” four years before the Battle of Yavin. Sork grew up as in the Chandrillan city of Cito in a upper class family where he was friends with Vel Sartha and learned to fly his fathers fleet of freighters. He would be recruited by Sartha into the Rebellion where he would go on to be a member of Phoenix Squadron, a fleet composed of RZ-1 A-wing interceptors that operated under the command of Jun Sato. Sork would be the flight leader during a mission to steal shield generators from the Galactic Empire and later participated in a dogfight with the Sith Lord Darth Vader which occurred during the Siege of Lothal. The Sith Lord dealt heavy damage to Sato’s fleet, and Sork’s life was lost to Vader. After further fighting, Sato and the remainder of Phoenix Squadron escaped.
