Rush: Nuknog can temporarily improve their agility, reflexes and speed. A rushing Nuknog gains a temporary +1D to Dexterity (and all related skills) and moves at twice the normal speed. While using this ability, the Nuknog cannot use skills that require patience and concentration, such as sneak or any Force Skill. A rush lasts for a number of rounds equal to 4+ the number before D in the character’s stamina. At the end of this duration, the Nuknog loses the benefits of the rush and suffers a –2 penalty to both Strength and Dexterity and must move slower than High Speed for a number of rounds equal to the charge’s duration. Acute Senses: +2 to Perception or search to notice something.

Ark Roose, known by the nickname “Bumpy” due to his aggressive nature during races, was a dim-witted male Nuknog podracer from the planet Sump. Using a Plug-8G 927 Cluster Array Podracer, he participated in the Boonta Eve Classic podrace on the planet Tatooine in 32 BBY. Prior to the start of the race a band played in his honor, and during his first lap he was well placed in the lead group. After stopping for maintenance at the start of his second lap, Roose was overtaken by the human pilot Anakin Skywalker, and during his third lap, the Nuknog was knocked out of the race when the Vulptereen racer Dud Bolt crashed into him.
