Life Detection

This power allows the Jedi to detect the location of sentient beings who might otherwise remain hidden from their normal senses. When the power is activated, the Jedi knows the location of all sentients within 10 meters – if the power is kept up, the Jedi may know whenever a sentient approaches within 10 meters of them or vice versa. When the Jedi approaches or is approached by a sentient being, the character makes a sense roll and each sentient creature makes an opposed control or Perception roll to avoid detection. Both actions are “free” actions and don’t count as a skill use (and thus there are no die code penalties except those caused by injury). If a tie occurs, the Jedi detects the creature in question. If Jedi beats the target’s roll by 10 or more points, the Jedi is aware if the person has Force skills (yes or no), is Force-sensitive (yes or no), or if they have met before (yes or no), and if yes, what their identity is
