The Force is not born divided. The Force simply is: a living continuity that binds, moves, reveals, and answers. What people call “light” and “dark” are not inherent halves of the Force. They are outcomes, shadows cast by the intent of the wielder.

It has been one full year since I set foot on Batuu. A year since I limped out of the wreckage of a stolen freighter, half-starved, half-mad, and wholly convinced I would not survive the month. Strange, then, that I am still here. Stranger still that part of me wants to be.

It is done. The Republic is gone. The Jedi are gone. And the war—if you can still call it that—is over.

Three years. I’m back where I began this war, at the same forward outpost in the Saleucami Sector. The structures are pitted and rusted now. The men are different—most of the faces from that first campaign are gone.

This war has changed the way I move in the Force.

I’ve stopped wearing robes in the field. The clones say it makes me blend better with the terrain, but the truth is, the robes feel like a lie now. Armor is honest—it says exactly what you are and what you’re prepared to do.

Kessel smells like death long before you see it. Even through a rebreather, the air tastes like chemical rot, spice dust, and broken promises.

The Council calls Felucia a “strategic holding.” I call it a fever dream.

I always thought the first time I killed for money, I’d feel something. Pride. Shame. Regret. Anything. But there was nothing...

War. The word used to be something from the histories. An echo from the Ruusan campaigns or the Mandalorian conflicts—studied in the Archives, debated by scholars. I never imagined it would define my every waking moment.
