DV was a GNK-series power droid who served the Twi’lek scrapper Hudi during the High Republic Era. The droid was present when the pirate Clave Rollek and Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar and Bren visited Hudi’s Depot seeking to obtain a stabilizer coil for Brightstar’s borrowed starship Crimson Firehawk. After Rollek stole the stabilizer coil, DV accompanied Brightstar in a landspeeder to recover the coil from Rollek. In return for recovering the coil from Rollek, Hudi allowed Brightstar and Bren to keep it for their starship.
