Control Host: The parasite typically ambushes a living host entering through the nose and into the brain. It takes 1D rounds to take control noted by the host convulsing for a short period and the eyes rolling back. Dead hosts behave the same during this stage, but when they open their eyes they have a milky appearance. The parasite has access to a dead host’s basic memories/abilities and a living host’s memories/abilities. While within range of the queen’s mental control she can issue orders to the parasites. Those parasite that are outside the queen’s control will concentrate on surviving and if possible infect additional hosts using the memories/abilities of the host to its advantage. Hard to Kill: While a parasite is still in the host it is difficult to kill as it resides at the base of the skull. Undead hosts are not affected by wounds and ignore results of Incapacitated or worse. Cold Sensitivity: The parasite has a weakness to cold, if the temperature drops sufficiently it will exit the host in an attempt to escape but typically quickly dies of exposure.
